Hi there! My name is Charles Oberleitner, but you can call me Chuck. I tell stories.

My current home base is Palm Springs, California, but, as I’m given to wanderlust, that could change at any given moment.

I’ve been told that I am of above average intelligence—I’m sure my mother would never lie to me—and have an amazing capacity to overthink just about everything, which despite what you may think hasn’t really done me a whole lot of good.

I like to think this has given me the ability to see things in ways that other people are either unable to see or simply unwilling to entertain the thought of. The result of all this is a rather unenviable series of unfortunate, unsuccessful, and unprofitable career choices.

It has also provided me with the ability to relate events in a way I hope you will find amusing. As someone once said, “A cockeyed point of view can be a lot of fun as long as you don’t have to be the one looking at things that way.”
